The explorations of having one eye. This week alone... I fell trying to get into the gondola, punched my face with my ski pole and then today I somersaulted in the snow while locking on my bindings. Creating and managing the mind. Exercise is the best medicine regardless if I'm slow and unsteady. I'm having fun and enjoying all that I have in life.

The best gift ever! I haven't stopped wearing this jacket for the past month. Everyday! Skiing, walking the dog or hanging with friends at the coffee shop. All day long I wear this jacket. Everything about this jacket fits my needs in owning the perfect Wool Aire Hoody. http://shop.ibex.com/Apparel/Womens-Vests-Jackets/W-Wool-Aire-Hoody One of my goals this past week was to try something new everyday! It can be anything. I'd encourage us all to try it and please share what you do.
Monday: Enjoyed a new drink. Synergy Raspberry Chia Kombucha. Tasty treat. Tuesday: 75 minute Power Vinyasa class. Temps hovering over 90 degrees in the studio my breath was moving rapidly with a powerful yoga practice. I enjoyed this very much even with the dizziness I stayed focused with my breath. I had a lot of fun. Wednesday: Studied for my EMR exam. Which is REALLY out of my comfort zone... studying. OH and I boiled water and made dinner which included gluten free pasta and organic marinara sauce. Thursday: Glögg. One of our guests for Thanksgiving brought Glögg it's a Swedish drink that's taste like Christmas. Glögg is a spiced sugared and simmered (or “mulled”) red wine. In Sweden this is a beverage consumed almost exclusively during the Christmas season, usually with raisins and blanched almonds added. Glögg was served in a special little mug with a handle. Thank you for sharing your traditions. Friday: Hiking while chewing gum. Pure task for me. Saturday: Went to a Christmas tree lighting. Sometimes I'm such a "Bah humbug" Sunday: New hat is big enough to cover my eye. This is totally comfortable. |
