sounding like a broken record in telling people what's wrong with me. My story everyday gets shorter and by tomorrow it maybe I have turned into a pirate and sailing off to sea. There I said it! I'm sailing away :O)
I have been doing well with physical therapy but I feel like I'm not seeing the improvement I was hoping for in 5 weeks. The clavicle is doing great and can finally sleep on my left shoulder. The paralysis is annoying me now more then ever that we went out to dinner and I wanted to drink out of a glass without a straw and ended up wearing half of the liquid. I have to chew with a napkin over my mouth because otherwise I'd wear that too. The ear is still humming and sounds like I spent the day swimming in the ocean, I'm still taping my eye closed and using eye drops all day because I can't blink or still have no moisture in my eye. The left jaw is doing better because now I can easily eat chips and salsa! My favorite. The BPPV (vertigo) is sporadic that getting up too quickly or laying down my eyes black out and get dizzy for no more then 30 seconds.
Alright enough about the pity party (as my dad would say to me as a kid) I did have a great 2 days with Andy. He helped me out with www.paddleparkcity.com and taught a couple lessons at Jordanelle while I sat on the dock and took photos. We went for a easy ride and took naps. It was so nice to be with him and plan our shoulder season adventures.
